Session 5 — The Pale Hand shows itself

New moon. The party staked out the Emberwick Road and got their caravan — four wagons, no drivers, horses calm as millponds, and eight figures walking alongside in miner's canvas, palms painted white. Followed them to the Emberdeep Mine: the outer seal opened for them from the INSIDE. Toby Greenfoot, a scout the party found hiding in the fourth wagon, swears the Hallorans walked in “smiling like it was payday.” Fen put an arrow through a lantern; the party is now VERY sure they were seen. Next session: the mine, ready or not.
